Anyone ever tried a kneeling style chair?
https://a.co/2g6Dpbg

I'm also looking for adjustable standing desk recommendations, perhaps a diy kit that comes with just the legs

I admire the guy who took the chair that just collapsed and figured out how to make money off it...  ;D

I would imagine getting knee cramps from being in that position.

Iinm, the Ikea sit stand desk is popular and decently priced

I've had it suggested to me, I haven't tried it out though.

Which one at Ikea is recommended?

Is there a discreet (as in not bulky and unsightly) webcam, or a good monitor with built-in webcam that offers a great angle?

I'm currently using my iMac webcam, but I'm getting rid of the iMac. I like the fact that the iMac had the webcam built-in from a clutter perspective. But the angle isn't great, and it requires me to adjust my screen to an awkward position.

On the other hand I don't want an ugly or bulky webcam. For either option, the quality needs to be great.

Any recommendations?

Recommendation for a good surge protector that covers ethernet and/or coax (just had a lightning strike last week take down my modem, router, and possibly some ports/cables from my setup)? Don't need any fancy features other than covering my internet connection - cheaper is better for me on this.

Looking at dual monitor stands. What does "Lift Engine" mean? I'm wondering the difference between these two:

Amazon Basics Dual Monitor Stand - Height-Adjustable Arm Mount, Steel ($27.99 )

Amazon Basics Dual Monitor Stand, Lift Engine Arm Mount, Black ($109.99)

Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

The top one - you need to have both monitors at the same height, and you need to loosen the screw to adjust the height.

The bottom one - the arms are rotatable. So you can lower and raise while sitting in your chair, and each monitor can be different.

This one looks like it has a very small pole and wouldn't work well to move the monitor as a sit/stand setup. There are many better ones out there. I actually took a pole from a different one to use with the lift arms and also added a keyboard shelf to the setup.

ETA:
This one (my DDF linkifier didn't work for some reason.)

Thanks for the recommendation! If not using as a standing desk, would it be worth the extra $35 to get this one over the cheap amazon basics one?

I don't see any benefit but make sure it fits your monitor size.
