10% off at Lowes only gives me a little off if I have to pay 7% tax.
I got this idea from MickeyG. You set it up in advance and it works like a thermostat to learn when you need heat and when not. It apparently can save hundreds per year.
Seems to have sensors which is likely problematic for shabbos.
I have been looking. Best I can find including shipping and tax is $249 apiece at Amazon. Thanks.
Can anyone vouch for the nest in terms of cost savings? Aside from looking nice does it actually work!
You can turn off the motion sensors....perfect for shabbos!
There are several settings which should be turned off. I turn everything to off so it just heats up based on my schedule. I LOVE my Nest!
So, I haven't had it long enough to really vouch for it. But I will say this, it's been pretty cold in NJ since December, and my January bill was $40 lower than the previous month...
What other settings?
