The more liquids and veggies you eat, the better. If you have soup five times a week, you can have plenty of matzah (if you don't overdo it).
Agav, you can do a natural reset by eating only fruit and veggies for a week or so (and wash on sprouted stuff for your chiyuvim). This results in, well, flushing your system (how it sounds), and after that you can go back to a regular diet.
