Also, does anyone know it El Al has any waiver in place for the coming snow storm?
I had a ticketed reservation with LY JFK-TLV for this coming Motzei Shabbos in J class, I figured that since the customer might not make that flight because of the storm I will put in a flight for Sunday as well so in case the customer can't make it I have her rebooked for Sunday. What I didn't know was that stupid El Al will cancel the ticketed segment for Motzei Shabbos because of the segment I added for Sunday. What can I do now to get back the J class for Motzei Shabbos? Its a good customer who I don't wish to mess with. Never mind that she lost her seat upstairs
LY is waiving change fees for changes to Sunday.
Including fare difference?
Well, its LY, no.....And no seats in C now for Sunday anyway.
Update: I called the help desk to reinstate right when it happened, they said they will send it to Israel who denied the space. I just called again and the agent said "I will ask my supervisor but I promise she will not give it" well after 5 minutes on hold she comes back "my supervisor will make a one time exception and put it back but she said she will put a remark on the ticket not to allow the free changes to Sunday if need be"
So the debit memos for using YTZ started pouring in....Do they really expect everyone to pay them?....
How do you expect not to pay them, unless you mean not to pay the ARC agency, basically genaiva
Welcome to my club
Yes, and they have ways how to make the wholesaler pay
Oh, I'm well aware. Just surprised that someone admitted it in public
Right, I am talking about the wholesaler, I mean they are El Al not a real airline with official policy's etc, the same way they were able to throw my pax off the plane the same way the wholesaler should say, I am not paying. Huh?
and LY has deployed one here that hurts
Yes, and then Elal pulls plates
