It's really not, though. Even with the T&C applied. It's a fantastic bonus ok TK miles.

Sure on like 6/13 with a hold. Anything before then and it's a major risk.
I just spent an hour on the phone last night with some seriously uninformed TK agents. Had a flight booked on 12/31 that they never fully ticketed. Kept saying it wasn't on their end and the story changed 4 times. I wish iphone had phone recording capabilities.
