Hertz Points for Hertz on Demand

I just returned a rental to Hertz and got my points. Now hers the question: Can I use those points for Hertz On Demand? How about if the accounts are linked? Deoes that help?

You earn Hertz points on a Hertz On Demand rental (if its linked), but you can not redeem points for a HOD rental.
