What's Your FICO Score?

Just applied for a HEL from PenFed and got a letter stating that my FICO from Equifax was 844, on a 150-950 scale.  Al little research shows that this is something that a few agencies use called the FICO NextGen system.  Does anyone have any experience with that?  What's a good score?

I think Dan has a writeup somewhere about FICO vs. FAKO and where to get real FICO scores. 
You could sign up for the Wells Fargo program for the first month at $! and then cancel no obligation.  In the meantime, I would printout the 20-30 pages of the full report with all the pros and cons comments and play around with the simulator (remember to expand all the comments by pressing the '+'s before you print--starting from the bottom of the page going up for efficiency) .

just got my fico from chase on a denial letter for the second biz card and it says fico score range from 250 to 900 ? i thought its only from 350 to 850

I have a problem. I'm a subscriber to fico alerts and was just notified that a collection of $500 was just applied to my score. Apparently, a bill had been sent to my parents house (I live elsewhere but still use their address), and I had never received it. I paid the collection right away. Will this be a major detriment to my otherwise decent report? Is there any way I can get this collection off of my report without waiting 10 years. I appreciate all the help guys!

Call the collection agency and ask them to remove it from your credit report.

My TU score that I get for free with the barcly cards seems to be all over the place.
6 months ago I had 761 right after applaying for the m&m card.
3 months ago I almost maxed out the card and it closed with 149 0 out of 1500 credit line and my credit score droped to 690.
A month ago after statment never closing with more then 10% of my credit line, my score was back to 755.
3 days ago I was approved for the U.S Air card.
Yesterday my score dropped to 722.
Is this becuse of my recent approvel for the U.S Air or can it have to do with me paying off my ENTIRE balance several times a month?

AFAIK there is no general rule for that. I have had it go both ways. FYI Barclays uses a different scoring formula than transunion and/or Discover.

Credit Score Tracker is is a credit monitoring service for discover card members, it's $9.99 a month (I think it's the cheapest 3 CB monitor) they don't accept new members now.

My score just shoot down to 722 from 740, think I better take a little break..

A couple of weeks after paying off my student loans ( Thanks to evolve,) my score shot up from 742 to 799..
