I guess I must have missed something. What happened to the 'D-Page Flip' design?
I thought that it was very good.
I also liked that logo (deals revealed) but it seems the designer did not follow the recommendations & guidelines that Dan wrote.
Brands need to be futureproof & work across all mediums, Gradients are out, and the logo would probably not look as good as a single color.
Most new brands (especially web-only brands) try to future proof their branding so there would be no need to redesign every few years (like Pepsi, Instagram, google, microsoft etc)
