Elite status thread idea

hey i noticecd that some of the very most sought after posts are the ones telling us "how to get elite status"

so i simply have a suggestion. could someone maybe make a stickied master thread on "how to attain elite status quickly" and maintain it with the current shortest and best ways to get elite status.

e.g (note this is an example of fake PAST and current deals)

oneworld

kingfisher free silver/bmi  (link)

staralliance

aegean 19,000 mile gold till 2015 +1 flight extend another 36months (link)

skyteam

delta 50,000 MR swap

status match from free bmi to XXX and do "20,000 mile challenge."

and if it would be maintained it'd really save alot of time and benefit greatly the users on this site.

it's a shame that so many of these awesome methods get lost in the forum while their still very much active.

obviously this is simply a suggestion. not a demand complaint or concern.

Wow this is an old thread... A lot has been learned on the tricks of the trade but it seems this is still a decent idea.. A "elite status promo master thread" with a nice wiki.. As I don't really know how to do it, we can only hope someone else decides to do it.. For the benefit of the entire ddforums.. I for one would save a lot of time by just Linking ppl to such a thread... Lol..
