What’s your question?
Why would someone want to go to an event advertised as a night of appreciation for Yungerleit?
I’m not sure why there needs to be an incentive
+1.
While many in Lakewood today have little affiliation with BMG, most recognize that the town was built around Yeshiva, and the Torah learning in Yeshiva is still the most important aspect of Lakewood. Normally, there is little they can have to connect with Yeshiva, aside from showing up one day and trying to find a seat and learn a little.
Now, Yeshiva and it's supporters are directly reaching out to the wider community and asking them to join in support of the yungerleit. Perhaps it doesn't talk to everyone, but don't you think that there are many who would embrace such an opportunity?
That's my thoughts.
