if you dont need color that printer should be fine.
This is a steep discount. Is this any good? It's not the Dell that davidmal was talking about upthread.http://www.staples.com/Dell-C1760nw-Color-Laser-Printer-STP-CGFYN-V2-New/product_122141?externalize=certona
I'm looking for an all-in-one that can print, copy, scan, and can also send emails through the network (without using a computer). Does such a thing exist? What's the normal price range?
There are a lot of machines that can do things like this (most of the new-style cloud-connected/app-supported devices.) Brother calls it Easy Scan To E-mail and you can see a list of compatible devices here: http://www.brother-usa.com/connect/cloud-apps/scan-to-email.aspxPrice depends on in the other characteristics of the device. Inkjet or laser, B&W or colored and so on and forward.
Thanks - that's very helpful! We are looking for a B&W laser. Does it make sense that the cheapest one Brother lists is $250? Our current Canon laser B&W printer was about $65.
The MFC-L2720DW is listed and costs $199 on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Brother-MFCL2720DW-Wireless-Networking-Replenishment/dp/B00MFG588Q$199 is a very normal price for an up to date laser AIO device. Are you sure your Canon is a laser AIO? I don't know of a normal laser AIO that cheap at all.
Here it is: http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/48316It was $75 actually.Do other manufacturers besides Brother have an email function?
That is indeed cheap, but $75 isn't $65 and that was a steal even then. (you can also have Brother AIO devices for a bit more, say $89, but they are the older model that do not have these cloud magic.)Other manufacturers do have some models with this kind of things, HP I know for sure, but I didn't find anything cheaper.
Okay, thanks for your help! Hoping for some black friday deals
did you find any? I'm looking for a good laser printer at decent price
