sitting backwards isn’t helpful.
Makes the stira between eyes and ears even worse.
I suffer from motion sickness as do two of my kids, and my tip to keep them looking out the window, preferably from the front seat (the less that is not moving in peripheral vision, the better), makes it not quite fun but at least bearable.

Any suggestions to alleviate carsickness in children under 2? My kids have a rough time before they can take Dramamine. Any other meds to give?

Can’t vouch for this in particular however back in the days I recalll one of my siblings using some sort of band which worked wonders.
