I went to book this and found that I'm logged in to Priceline as someone totally random. I think they may be having a problem...

This is the post: http://extremehoteldeals.com/grand-hyatt-atlanta-33/ There's a couple other good ones on site that didn't make it here yet. I will try to put in the EHD thread if no one else gets to it.
ETA: ShlockDoc, I see what you mean. I don't think you are actually logged in as someone else. I see same thing when following link but there is no details in profile and it asks for your actual login if you try to do any account things.

How does a glitch for just one night happen anyway?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Human carelessness. They leave off a 1 or 2 when entering rates. That is the usual explanation. There are some indications a small percentage of these are deliberate hotel decisions but that is not the norm. 1 in a 1000+ might be an actual "technical error."

But they actually file different rates for every night?
I'd assume a mistake for one night would mean others as well?

The software/systems vary but yes, they are often literally entering a different rate/s per each unique day. A deal can be only for a single day.

ETA: Believe deal is now dead. Congrats to those who booked.
