Anyone try the G+ Photos app? Seems nice enough.

Did anyone ever try the Wallaby app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=by.walla.wallaby) for letting you know which credit card to use?

What does Go SMS have over Handcent?
I believe toggling between popped up messages is one of them.
Possibly also the option of keeping messages as unread even if you're able to see the full message on the popup.

Do you mean Go SMS has these features? Because I know Handcent has them.

Go does.
Had Hadcent and, for some reason, kept Go.
One of the main things I look for is being able to keep messages as unread so that might have been the reason and maybe now Handcent got up to date.

In any case, if anyone knows of an app that you can "mark as unread" even once having opened the text please post about it.

I use handscent, but only to make a different vibration than emails. The stock txt message only does single vibration, same as emails. Am I missing out on much?

In Handcent you can set it that if you press the back button in a popup, it will leave the message unread.
In any case, if anyone knows of an app that you can "mark as unread" even once having opened the text please post about it.

Popups will pop up when you receive a text over whichever app you are using, and can even turn the screen on. You cam reply right from the popup. Quick compose is that you can long press search from any app and it will open a compose window.

Thank you for explaining. I haven't felt lacking without these features. Maybe you only realize how good it is once you use it.

Is there a good app to record phone calls?
i ended up getting The Call Recorder. It works well enough that I bought the paid version (in the free version you can only record the first minute of a call).
Only con is that the other party comes out very quiet, but reading reviews, that seems to be the case with most/all recording apps so I guess it's an Android issue.

It's because the speaker (where the other party's sound is) and the mic (where the sound is being recorded) are on opposite extremes of the phone usually.
Use this method and you don't even need an app, just use your device's integrated recorder.

How is it not an Android issue?
I mean Palm had it a decade ago.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

-1 It doesn't record by listening to the mic.

You 100% sure? Wasn't aware that that possibility exists.

Pretty sure, I also thought it recorded from the mic so I tried turning on the speaker to make it louder, it didn't record at all (it also doesn't record at all when I'm on Bluetooth, even when I'm within earshot of the mic).
