You just don't believe in swing trading because bad things can happen?
I am not a trader, I am an investor. That being said, when I see potential for a trade (as I did with EUO on the days leading up to Brexit) I might take a position with my eyes on a trade.
Unlike day trading, swing trading should involve some fundamental analysis, as the underlying risks are higher than day trading due to overnight holding of positions. One has to look at fundamental reasons and
some longer trends, set stops, or trailing stops, and like all traders anticipate losses (the key to successful trading is winning more than losing).
I would imagine that swing trading what has become a penny stock
with deteriorating fundamentals is too risky (to say the least - which is why I used the Verrukt analogy).
