We have a very good UPS driver here, that actually delivers packages to doors instead of dumping in the lobby (yes, he's from the only ones still doing it), anyway, some thief stole a credit card and purchased an expensive item with it, and addressed the package to a local home here, so they can't track the buyer.
He awaited the package all day, and when the UPS driver approached the address he runs up requesting his package. The driver asked if he lives there, he said yes and wanted to sign for it. The driver said he'll be right back, and contacted the person that lives there (he has a contact list of alot of people to notify when he's in the area so we can drop off packages) and the thief was caught by Shomrim and then detained by Police.
The thief was armed with a loaded gun.
As a totally unrelated point. The theif is probably back on the street and multiple stolen packages ahead.
