Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

Anyone know about the other cards that VRs can be loaded onto other than Bluebird or MVD? I have no limit to the amount of VRs I can buy, but my MVD accounts keep getting flagged.. the first one got a hold after 20K was run through it over a few weeks, the second and third MVDs had been unused until then and were active so I began using MVD number 2 which got a hold after I loaded 5K. I had no problem getting the remaining funds out through CA at my bank. I am now down to my last MVD account and Im looking for options other than BB. That is my backup in case I get stuck with some VRs....

Once you brought it up... How do the fees work out using VR ---> MVD, I know that the VR's are $3.95/$500, how does MVD fees work?

from my experience every cvs have thy own policy made up by the store manager but lw and nyc are a trigger but even other locations have the same policy
