I tried everything to get reconsideration for CSP  which i got denied for already receiving bonus and every time they would not reconsider. I tried SM and I got the same response. Looks like I hit a wall and its not even for the 5/24 rule.
I got the same denial just now. They said I already got the bonus in the last 2 years and therefore the card application was denied. Didn't seem like there was anything I could do. I actually think this rule is actually much better than the 5/24 rule. I can wait another 6.5 months to apply again as he told me my last bonus was on 7/10/2014. 5/24 is much tougher.

I would not be surprised if you waited the 6.5 months and then they give you the 5/24. They are just looking for any reason not to give out UR cards

One thing I haven't figured out yet. Why would they be tougher on UR cards than co branded, is UA miles cheaper for them?

they have contracts with UA, SW, hyatt etc. so if they dont give out those cards the companies will discontinue their relationship with chase

So churn'ers actually help them keep their relationship with their partners? Aren't there enough people out there with less than 5/24 who apply for cards?

Sounds like he violated not having 5/24, actually.
+1 the rep asked me which one I want most I told him freedom cuz that would be my 5th in 2 years (even though I did a couple from other banks of others the same day) figuring that ill work on the other 2 afterward

After huca'ing 3 times I've been told that being that my card relationship with chase they don't want to open a new account for me. Even after offering to close a current cc or move over credit. They were still adamant. Is there anything else I can do? TIA

Been calling recon daily and they keep saying "oh we see notes here" and I keep getting turned down due to too much new credit extended. Even after offering to transfer credit or close a card still no dice.

How many HUCAs total?  I too , have been denied and called it quits a few times . The more notes there, the more difficult / unlikely someone will overide them .
But if you have the strength keep calling.

Good luck . I have called back more than a week after an APPO and got a Chase card approved . Make sure they don't do another pull .

There are worse things than another pull, unless new accounts have hit in the interim.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

No worse than the first pull. You can call to get pulls within 30 days combined. (But yeah, denials can be depressing. HUCAing after speaking to a nasty recon member can harder than getting ahold of a clueless AA phone agent that says what you want is impossible. And then when you call again and they say "We see you just called, and the answer is still no, and that's final", there's something that makes you want to slam down the phone and not call again.)
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.
