That's not the Palestinian vantage point, Palestinians claim to be resisting an occupation, which is self defense.
And please don't drag me into the Isra- Pal conflict argument.
I was just trying to point out how stupid the "Violence" argument is.
This will always be true. Whether you're right or wrong depends on your perspective.
In the terrorist's case; if he truly believes that God's will is for him to perpetuate this attack; is he really wrong? It's irrelevant, as he is a danger to society and must be eliminated.
If there's a gorilla about to kill a child; it's completely irrelevant whether the gorilla is "right" or "wrong", and whether it's someone's fault that the child is in the gorilla's reach. The child is endangered, and the threat must be eliminated.
This terrorist can be no better than the animal; that although guided by instinct that may be right from its perspective, it's a menace that must be taken care of.
Defining eliminating this dangerous element as violence and thereby condemning all violence as wrong is stupid.
What Chapshnell was saying is that beating up every Muslim you see is not an answer, because it does nothing to eliminate any known existing threats, and is just senseless and cruel violence.
