I was supposed to fly from tlv to bos tomorrow on air France. Who knows what wil be.
I was actually very impressed because I was flying out of boston on jet blue and they cancelled my tickets for me and gave me a full refund.

I have Travelex with "all events upgrade" and checked with them. they consider it a terrorist event and said it would be covered even without the "all events" upgrade and certainly with it.

But cs responses are not like actually filing a claim and being paid. The insurance company itself will look at it much more carefully and could deny.

They had no one to contact and they weren't able to leave, it seems they are going to hotels now so hopefully they'll be able to figure out the food themselves. Thanks guys.

What about Chabad? Does anyone know anyone in Paris? Who caters the kosher food to the planes in Paris? Can the passengers get to departures? Surely frum people going to the US would be willing to give up their food and replenish in the US. More than that, they probably have relatives in Paris who they can call to organize some food to be brought in.

It's only 1:30 am now in Paris. Who is up late over there? does anyone have connections to a yeshiva? Bochrim will be up and they have a cook tomorrow.

Just thinking aloud. Isn't a weird coincidence that the US and the Europeans both decided to cancel flights today?
After all, rockets have been fired at and landed near TLV for 2 weeks already.

How do they decide which poor non-revs have to sit in coach? Perhaps employees of other US-based airlines being shuttled as a courtesy, while UA folks get the J seats?
