I mistakenly made my purchase with united travel bank before I enrolled my my amex and chose United. This is on my Amex Biz Platinum. Dec 21st made purchases. Enrolled on Dec 25th (today). Has anyone had any success in getting them manually credited? What do you tell them when they ask what the charges were for? Are they funny and suspecting when it comes to this? Thanks.

Getting conflicting info from customer service reps at Amex. With Business Platinum do you earn rewards for Venmo transactions and do those transaction count toward spend for bonus?

Probably. Unless you return and put merchandise on a gift card. That was the work around. But free shipping is only for $100

If a flight is booked using platinum business miles and then refunded, does the refund go back to the points or is it a cash credit on the account?

I just did a Jetblue booking for the plat airline credit. Someone told me that you can do the full $200 at once since it splits it up by pax (ie 2 separate charges of $100 each). But I also used up old travel bank funds that were expiring and it looks like its pending on my Amex account as 1 charge (of ~$162, did a separate booking for the last bit). Is that normal, and it'll still post as 2 charges once it fully posts? Or does that indicate that the travel bank credit messed it up and I should cancel for real refund and try again as 2 bookings (considering keeping this flight if things work out)?

I plan to downgrade my Amex platinum in the next month. If I book a hotel stay with the amex today will it be an issue if the hotel stay is after the amex is downgraded. Not looking to use the benefits.

My annual fee posted December 15 can I do saks and travel bank tomorrow and get credit and have enough time till they won't refund the fee anymore. I want to close card as soon as I get the credits
