Looking for some advice from the pros: I have a large business-related charge - 6 figures! - that I must put on a card for Omni Hotels, what would be the best card to put it on?

First if you can split it up, use up as many Amex offers as you can.

I would go with the SPG card then if I didn't have a card that I was working on minimum spend for but that is based on my personal travel goals.  If you have time to get a new card the British Airways card or the Hyatt card may be ones to consider for the companion pass or for the status with Hyatt.

+1, but sometimes they allow it if you have been with them for a long time with good history, 3 years ago, for business, they approved a charge of $125000 on my Amex Business Platinum.

Even then, you'd have to overclock an AMEX revolver.  I've never seen an AMEX revolver with over a $99K limit.

Yes, it's their identity verification.

I was just approved for a Citi Cashback card. This is my first Citi card as all my other spending goes on multiple amex or chase cards. Credit limits on those cards ranges from 35-70K and FICO is roughly 800.
Citi approved me for $3,000 spending which does nothing for me. Is there a way for me to get a credit increase right away? Any experience with this?

Can you get approved for a Chase card that you got the bonus on within the past 24 months (it's not currently open)?

I take an Amex Platinum and back it up with any Visa or MC that does not charge FTF.
