I have the citi double cash and Premier. What are my options about downgrading my Premier, I am getting his with the $95 annual fee. I don't see a reason to keep the card (for the 3% on grocery I do not think it is worth it..
You need to premier in order to be able to transfer the points to airlines. including from double cash.

I have a premier that I signed up in feb 22, but I am greedy and want the bonus again. I have not downgraded the premier yet. Can I get another one now? And Even if technically yes, what’s the chances of actually getting approved? (I have good credit bh)

i have 91k points on the citi premier, and want to downgrade to the citi double cash for long term use. but first i wanna try to cashout throught he citi rewards + card so i gain a extra 10%.... so if i downgrade to the citi rewards +, cash out 91k and recieve the 10% rebate, then i product change again to the citi double cash.....

would citi let me do that?
would it raise any red flags w citi?
and would it restart the 24 month clock of getting a bonus on a citi thank u card?

thanks

Pretty sure can’t within 24 months.

How often do statements close with Citi, first statement closed right after I received the card, then the next statement is close is two months later, does that make sense?

No, that sounds odd. Must just be some funkiness having to do with your new account. It should stabilize at the expected ~every 30 days cadence going forward

citi's rule is 37 days after annual fee is posted it can refunded if do a product change.

i did this, and am wondering if i can upgrade it back to the premier just for a day so i can do a points transfer and then either cancel card immed or downgrade it again?

I got the card in September with the 80,000 SUB, now I have about 95k points but I'm thinking of downgrading to the rewards+ because I want to focus spending on my chase cards and I cant find a way to cover the AF on the premier. Is this a good idea? should I transfer my points somewhere before?

You can leave points there and upgrade when you want to use, or transfer to a friend and use them.

Have you tried calling Citi yet? they tend to be one of the more generous Banks when it comes to retention offers.

I’ve found Citi to be tighter on approvals for the Premier (denied me multiple times in the past for having too many recently opened cards.) Does anyone have recent DP's on approvals/rejections for this card?

Hi, can I product change a Premier right away, or is there a minimum time before it can be downgraded?

Thanks

Does yesterday count? Took a couple days but approved automatically.

I had a Citi premier, downgraded to rewards+ last year, got an offer to upgrade for no fee first year and I took it.

The documents I got say that I have 60 days to use points earned with the rewards+ or I'll lose them.

How does this make sense, and will I lose what was previously earned with the premier card?

This is the sort of thing where it probably makes more sense to call the bank and ask them for clarification. That way you have a recorded conversation of whatever they tell you. Alternatively, you could send them a secure message if you want a written record of their answer
