IMO if the route has you in F for a good amount of time.

personally I would go with LX & no time in the FCT. But thats me.. I want that layflat over the blocked middle seat and no FCT. I'll already sleep & drink at home

1) No FCT and extra stop
2) 1 less stop and FCT

I would take option 2.

truth is the LX J isnt all that wide anyways its actually a pretty narrow J. You may be right

It's another J product to try, and he's not in a rush to get anywhere. It's not like he can eat in the FCT anyway.

When you are 350lb if it's even a little more comfortable it's worth it.

if he is not in a rush & he wants to try out a new J product then yeah.. luckily hes going in LX J before LH F

he can order kosher food in the FCT. I have flown on the LX J A330 4 times probably by now (not impressed, I dont like their product). I would just go LH & finished.. but had I been starting out I wouldve done what he has booked now

I am trying to highlight what makes FCT a worthwhile place to hang out in and not what he will get when flying LH Y.
