Drum roll please...Condensed milk.
As the name suggests, it's basically milk that is condensed to about half it's original volume. It is very simple and easy to make, all you need is sugar and milk. There are many recipes that use condensed milk, from ice cream to cakes to Dolce de Leche. I've never actually tried any but I think it's about time.
