(serious) how to united lounges generally fair against american airlines?
I work for company that handles contract to the Admirals clubs, AA Flagship clubs, UA Clubs, Centurion, Polaris and PP clubs.
If you put AA Hub against UA Hub honestly they're about the same.. soups, salads, sandwiches, some hot plates at certain times of the day. Alcohol included in your membership and premium for purchase AA has been considered a better club in the past but in the last 6 months all UA Clubs have fallen under a new contract with another company. If you go to UA clubs lately you've seen lots of changes, all Clubs are renovating and in menu and offerings which in my opinion has become better than AA Clubs.
You can't compare a UA line station (non Hub airport for UA) to one of AA regular Clubs because line station offerings are a slim down menu option. With United getting their face lift i would choose them imo.
