I have had this issue at least twice. I credited Delta flights to Delta Skymiles. (My Delta number was attached to the reservation so that I could get a free checked bag.) After the flight, I tried to get Flying Blue miles instead. Flying Blue could not help until I called Delta and got them to remove the miles that were already awarded. I then had to get the account statement from Delta showing the miles were no longer there and present that to Flying Blue. This statement I got from Delta, instead of showing that miles were awarded and then rescinded, showed no record of the flight at all. Delta also would not give me a letter that they removed the miles. Therefore, to bolster my case the second time this happened, I saved the statement before and after the miles were reversed.
and then it worked?
Where the best place to credit EL AL J revenue (about $4500)Thanks
Flying AA Premium Economy Round Trip JFK-TLV (return is on a AA Codeshare, BA Metal). Paid $1650. Would prefer not to credit to AA, as I don't use much. Can I still credit to JetBlue? If not, how about posting to BA?Thanks.
If I booked with one carrier but subsequently was rebooked on another (not same alliance, don't think they have milege partnership) due to original flight being canceled, how do I get my miles and from whom?
