Has anyone been to the Fort Worth Stockyard Rodeo or the Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo? Which is better? Anything to do in Dallas motzei shabbos? Thanks
Thanks. Ended up doing both. The stockyards are very kid friendly. Nice place to stroll around. The Fort Worth Stock show was amazing. It runs from mid January to the beginning of February. There is a large carnival in front. One entrance ticket gets you into both. Lots of livestock, different shows going on, cattle sales, hundreds of vendors selling anything farm/cowboy related... Rodeo was amazing. It runs for about 2.5 hours. Tickets are sold separately. https://www.fwssr.com/
Where does one go to pick up shabbos food?
Anyone know the story with Meat Point? Now certified by Achdut Yisroel - Rabbi Binyamin E Terenyo? Anyone have the scoop if this is accepted among the local orthodox community there?
The Local Orthodox Ashkenaz rabbonim do not hold it's reliable
https://www.shaaretefilla.org/visitor-info.htmlHighly recommended (and the only hotel within Eruv I believe): Cooper Guest Lodge Hotel Spa and Conference Center
Anyone with info on this hotel? May stay there for a Shabbos. Also, what are other must-do activities around Dallas? For family with kids
