I flew alone with a 5 YO and an almost 2 YO, from TLV to ORD with a transfer IN EWR, and we had to circle EWR for about an hour before landing. There was terrible turbulence, several people fainted, even more were screaming, and I was just davening to have the koach to deal with my kids during our transfer. By the time we landed I was so shaky that I could barely get off the plane with the kids. Then, once I finally got to Chicago, the person meeting me at the airport hadn't strapped the carseats in, and I was still too dizzy to notice. Right after we started driving, one of the carseats fell over, with the child still strapped into it! We pulled over immediately and fixed the issue, but everyone wondered why I was so white and shaky when we arrived!
