Check the cover and date stamp if it says kfp (or klp)

glucose is potentially chametz. Ascorbic acid begins it's life as glucose

@moko - it isn't obvious (sorry, the camera is more than 15 years old), the hechsher on the import label says FOR PASSOVER even by the Weissmandel hechsher. Also, based on the EXP date, this is apparently from my stash left over from last Pesach (I often keep them from year if they won't expire), and I didn't notice this last Pesach...

(Interesting to note that at the time coke contained treifa glycerin and chametzdika alcohol. Presumably, assuming they were aware, they held it was batul)

Yes. Just make sure it's clean. I've never seen that mat, but people use something else (I think) it's a copper mat.

On these hot peppers we had for Pesach, there was an OU-P and a Badatz that said 'Lo Kollel Pesach. I'd imagine that means that the ou allows it for Pesach, while the Badatz doesn't...?

IIRC the Badatz only gives for Pesach on items they consider to be essential

Not every Badatz exclusion is that way. Many are due to shitos regarding specific ingredients that they don't like for Pesach. Such as what @TheAsh wrote. I once heard that Eida requires a mashgiach tzamud to make something KLP - maybe the company decided they wouldn't make enough to pay for that.

Huge shoutout to @moko and the KVH team for certifying Stop and Shop in Lakewood, allowing me to get delicious freh baked chometz baguettes and cookies immediately after the zman!

According to the AKO:
Stores that have absolutely no chametz issues: Aldi, BJs, Costco, CVS, Duane Reade, Rite Aid, Sams Club, Trader Joes, Walgreens, Walmart, Wawa, Whole Foods.
Owned by Yidden, but business is sold for Pesach: Stop and Shop, Winn Dixie, Key Food.
Target is a potential issue because of the distributors. It's difficult to know.
Amazon is ok if sold by Amazon itself.
