If anyone here knew of one and wanted to share about it, you'd see a thread about it here already :P

So, what has changed?
•To continue using Venmo for free, switch to bank payments. Click here to switch now.
•To continue to use your credit card and pay the 3% fee, simply make a payment. We'll confirm the fee with you before the payment goes through.

I sent money via CC - and i didnt receive notification/confirmation about a fee , I dont get this?

How much was your payment for? I think old accounts (possibly new ones too) have $500 in fee-free CC transactions before the fees kick in.

They said specifically they'll warn you, so probably not. You can also check your online CC statement, should be able to see at least pending charge (I know Chase and Amex display this, others might have something similar)

pinger.com is definitely your friend for getting unique cell numbers for opening a Venmo account.  Of course it's only good for $500 now.

how are you generating numbers via pinger? it looks like a text only site no numbers involved?

Could be they only warn accounts that were open prior as they were around before the fees.

http://pinger.com/textfree/

They will assign you a phone number you can receive SMS text on (which you can use in the Venmo sign-up).

I've made a few payments from my card and noticed that i am not being charged the 3% fee. In the past a "fee warning" popped up b4 I sent money. Has this been happening to anyone else recently?

I also noticed I wasn't being charged a fee on CC payments so made a couple in the last week.  However they seemed to have just changed their interface as today the sent payment came from my bank account now by default (didn't even give me the choice and I didn't realize this until after payment sent).   I also just noticed text saying they also allow free payments by "debit card" (and have an interface to add debit cards separately from credit cards which I never noticed before)...

(especially with venmo's new restructuring, that's another 2k/month (per card) that can no longer be used for standard CC)

Can yo elaborate please?

I haven't been using venno lately so I haven't ben following,  but I'm going to start using them again next month.
