Would Citi American Express Virtual Numbers work ??

Doubtful, but if you have a Citi Amex then it's worth a shot. I didn't know the Citi Amex cards generate virtual numbers too...

Wow. That's a great idea. I'd definitely try it - use it on something like gas, so that if it doesn't work, no harm no foul.

Last year, if I recall, it was only good "in store", so virtual terminals were no good.  Does anyone know if that's the same this year?  I want to use it at a place that only has a virtual terminal (authorize.net).

+1 when i tried (a while ago) to get a virtual number with my citi amex, it said it's not available for that card. did that change?

I was thinking that, but I don't have a Citi Amex to try it. I actually find it hard to believe that Citi generates one-time-use Amex numbers, can anybody here say they've seen it?

I just checked and it only allows me to select my MasterCard or Visa to generate a VCC.

I have both. Only offers me option to create Visa virtual cc.

On Saturday November, 26th (the day after my favorite day of the year – Black Friday), if you spend $25+ with a registered American Express card at a small business, you will get a statement credit for $25. You can only receive one credit per American Express card, however, there really is no limit on the number of cards registered (corporate cards are excluded).

You must register first https://sync.americanexpress.com/sbs2011.  I would highly recommend doing it now as only a limited number of cards that can be registered – do not miss out! If you are registering multiple cards, I would recommend using different email addresses.

To find out participating Small Businesses in your area, go to Small Business Saturday Facebook page, click the + sign next to “See where you can shop to earn your $25 statement credit,” enter your zip code,  and enter your zip code, and click “Go.”

Well the AUs are all based off of my cards with my email address, so I don't see why I wouldn't use my email address for all of them when registering for Small Business Saturday....
