Schreiber's on Ave. M is the real can't miss. Not as well known, but those that know all agree...
Had some last night. Was very much not impressed.
These donut discussions always go circular like this. Like the wheel of teams that beat each other in the NFL. Sesame sells who knows how many thousands of donuts but all the people fressing them like cows will tell you, "meh. The best donuts are from <obscure bakery out of town>." You drive to that bakery, fress a dozen of those, and then say, "actually, the 3 day old jelly donuts on the shelf at kol tuv at 1:00am on Motzei shabbos are the best."
Thanks @DMYD and @ah for the breadberry delivery!
Just want to point out that I walked about 1.3 miles with said donuts with a backpack and a suitcase, through EWR and CLE!But, holy moly, do they look good, so thanks @Dan abd thanks @DMYD and thanks @ah for making it happen! Also, the née CRJ-550 has a ton of storage space in steerage!
You are posting an invitation for a break-in at your home tonight...
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Shreibers Boro Park does the baked goods for breadberry. Not sure if they're the same as Schreibers Flatbush, but I assume so
Hey, I recognize that picture!Shkoyach to the mule as well
The guy shleps you donuts from the other end of the country and you publicly call him names?א פערד ביסטו?
You are right, after eating them, i feel like a cow, not a mule
So these are certainly pretty and some of the flavors are great. That being said, all in all, it doesn't compare to Ungers donuts at all. Ungers dough is so much better and their custard, cinnamon, and apple fritter can't be beat. Plus they are $1-$2 instead of $5.50 per donut!#TooMuchWinning #AndWeGotSchoolVouchersToo
