Of course because in front of congress or when at a trial as a witness you need to go up and invoke it but a subject of the trial can either go up or not. Once they go up they have waived the right to remain silent. They are 2 different ways of doing the same thing.

Actually, I think we agree the trial should not have happened.
Do I think he paid hush money because of the election, 100%.
Was it also because of his family finding out, 100%.
Did knowingly try to hide the payments as lawyer fees, 100%.
Do I think he will be found guilty, 50%.
