Just noticing this now on my cardmember agreement, I got the card when the 30,000 bonus came out (purple card), and on my cardmember agreement it is showing my annual fee to be $0 for the first year, then $65 - instead of $95.

It also says they can change the terms whenever they want, but I guess it could work out.

Hey can my DW apply for a card and can I place my SPG number on it - is that legal? I know that is fine with UAL and other FF cards. TIA

But then the 5 nights towards status that come with the card cant combine

So if I get 5 nights for signing up and then my wife signs up with my SPG number, I'll have 10 nights stayed?

Same here. No way to merge according to Spg website and phone reps. Dan once wrote a few months ago it's possible to merge though.

Do what? Merge them? Report back please. I tried twice and was told the only way to merge was if the accounts have the same name, and the only way to change the name on the account was to email a document verifying the legal name change to research@starwoodhotels.com

They didn't let. They said you can only transfer points, they can't merge the accounts themselves.

Figured. Only accounts with same names can be merged. Maybe that's what dan meant?

Does the offer expire at midnight rolling over from 9/13 to 9/14 or at midnight rolling over from 9/14 to 9/15 ?
