Just buy one on ebay/craigslist. There's a large selection and good prices. Just make sure the phone you're buying has a clean ESN and you're set to go.

Unused refurb I got from Sprint. I only have the phone and battery (it's in my office, I'll have to look for it). ESN is clean.

I'll give you a curve for $75, but it doesn't charge (or transfer data) via USB, I use a desktop cradle to charge it and OTA/bluetooth to back it up and install software. It's on 4.5, I don't think you can upgrade it to 5.0.
