[Occasionally an app will have a built in browser/or need to access a certain website - just go back in to settings (with password) and add that website].

each filter has what the offer.
I would honestly try techloq.
There may be a discount if you go through tag
+1 I have had a very good experience with them. Just keep in mind they're not perfect, no filter is...

We would like to set up a separate user account on the laptop for the kids with a whitelist. I added a user with family settings etc but there is no option to switch users even when restarting. This is on a laptop using Windows 10. If anyone can help would be much appreciated.

I dont know if I understand your question exactly....What happens if you sign out, or try to switch users. Does the other user show up?
What about from settings/accounts/other users?

Yah, they're good. Though they block everything. Everything is uncategorized!

Here is what I do. Help out and categorize it for the world. Just allowing a site via techloq wont help for others, but if Norton approves the categorization it will:

https://sitereview.bluecoat.com/
(Right now the site is down for me, but in my experience it should go back up soon)

But does Tchlq base it off Nortons categorization ?

Mostly
Double the work! But if it's saves my other fellow yid the hassle of having to do the same work twice getting nowhere it may be worth it. Though I wonder if there was a way to automate my unlock clicks with that website.

Well you cant just unlock it there, you need to choose the correct category, and then wait a few days for Norton to approve it, but yes that's the point....

When I sign out or switch users it goes to the original screen with only the option to sign into the original user. When I go to settings/accounts/other the other account is there but doesnt show up on the sign in page. TIA

Can you send screenshot if the settings/other user? (or pm me) Also when you go to C:\Users , do you see the other user profile?

Would need more info. like most simply, what device?

Most probably the answer is you need to get a proper filter but there might be some fixes depending on the device.

Does it work for you once you unblock it? I have Techloq on my computer and the few times I had a reddit page unblocked the content didn't show anyway.
There are sites like that.
MSN never displays anything, just a blank page.
Other sites will open but will be very different from what they should be, like all the font extremely small etc.
No idea why.

Just to note, When on the website and it asks you to select a filtering service, techloq told me to select "Blue Coat Proxy SG"

Techloq seems to have gotten more strict lately.
Yahoo news was always blocked, but after requesting a page to be opened they never refused.
Now they are turning down requests to open innocent Yahoo news pages, even with images blocked, without any "I need access anyway" option.

Possible that advertising or articles have gotten worse or cannot be blocked separately and that those are accessible from any article's page. But my experience has also been the same - getting access requests rejected more often.

Have you considered going to Techloq direct instead of through TAG? Or maybe change some settings on your account what to allow and not allow.

I'm using Techloq and didn't have that many blocked pages for incorrect reasons.

Hmm... In my case, I wouldn't know if it was an incorrect reason being that the request to open was denied.
