Hi All,

I spoke with a Chase Banker about "Special Consideration" for card applications. She told me they can do this for customers with $10K or more in deposits. She could not tell me the chances of approvals with a Special Consideration, but I'm guessing it works best for people with no credit or new to credit and those who are on the threshold of being approved/declined.

Has anyone had any experience with "Special Considerations."

Thanks everyone for your replies.

I am doing some research on approval process and would like to ask specific information like what you account balances were, the reasons for denial, and if you called in for a recon.

Thanks!

Why ?
What I have seen a few times if someone has 0 credit but has money in a chase bank will get instant approval for a $500 chase freedom card

It worked for a friend of mine. He had NO credit, applied for the Chase UA card and was declined, then his banker filled out this form and lending services called him a few hours later asked some question and approved him.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's far from a sure thing.

I applied for ink a few days ago and was rejected because of to many cards open recently- BA and Saphhire preferred a few months ago and United as part of 3BM with the ink. Recon also said the business was to new- 1.5 years old? I have a $1,501 chase checking (for chase trifecta) open- if i move another 9,000 into it and then go to banker- will they vouch for me- or they will say- you just moved the money, we cant help you?
