Test can be from as early as Friday morning

So as of right now is there any way for non-Israeli children under 5 to be allowed in?

Why not? US requires calendar day hence anytime Friday is fine. Alternatively can take antigen right after Shabbos

No unless parents have student visa

In which case...
Currently that is not a solution. Only way AFAIK is if the kid recovered in Israel or EU

Or kid under 12 months but apparently only ElAl respects that rule

https://covidcertificate-form.admin.ch/foreign

For an application for a recovery certificate based on a positive PCR test you must show an official confirmation that isolation has been lifted. The confirmation must contain the name and address of this authority as well as proof of the positive PCR test result, with at least the following information:
Last name, first name and date of birth.
Date and time the sample was taken (must be within the last 365 days).
Test centre of institution that carried out the test.
Type of test (only PCR tests are valid)

There might be other countries doing it as well. So far I checked Finland, France the Netherlands, Sweden and they don't do it. but there is a total of 60 countries/territories participating in this system (27 EU +33 others) so there might be one with easy rules and it would be recognized in all 60 countries.

I tried it & I noticed it would cost 30 CHF (about $32)... What's the turn-around time?

so just to confirm with the current rules, if I'm from the USA and had covid in the past 6 months, I will still need the booster shot if my last one was more than 6 months ago?
As I understood, it you had the booster doesn't need to be within 6 months

Where do you get the official confirmation that isolation has been lifted?

Try this? Or similar.

How does that help? It just will give you confirmation that you tested positive, not an official letter lifting isolation by an authority...

No, I've only had 2 shots, I'm trying to confirm that proof of recovery is useless from the USA INSTEAD of the 3rd booster shot

If traveling to the US, you can do a rapid in Ichud Hatzala or Terem on Yirmiyahu.

I tried to do it, but I was rejected for not having a release from isolation by an authority... it's been pretty difficult to get something like that in the US
Thats interesting.
Looks like they still dont recognize outside of EU.
https://corona.health.gov.il/en/abroad/certificates-recognized-by-israel/
though according to this- it would seem that they could- as long as it was PCR.

maybe things will change....again...

Not getting a clear answer.  I live in the US (US Citizen) and I just tested positive for covid.  I have had the first 2 vaccinations more than 6 months ago but not the booster.  Is my positive covid any good from the US or do I need the booster shot?
