It'll be 50k for first purchase and 50k for $2,500 spend within 90 days. Same as the current offer, but with double the amount of miles

I'd say if we have the app link then we're probably good to go. But what's the rush, wait a few days and it'll be official.
and I need some more time to finish spending the money needed for the 6 cc me and my wife applied for recently which totals 7K , before I take on another 5k

If there is a chance of churning out 2 tries out of this offer the sooner we start the sooner we could cancel and start on the second round

Unlikely you'll get to do two if it lasts until the end of April. If it lasts beyond that you might have a chance. Either way, we're talking about a day or two, unlikely that's a deal-breaker.

Things to remember:
-BA charges heavy fuel surcharges except for flights on LAN or on select AA flights.  Expect to pay $1,000 for a "free" ticket to Israel.
-BA shut down many accounts for selling miles and shares that data with partner AA.

Then again Hawaii and South America are good redemption options with BA.

I'm still on the fence here.  For me 50K CO or 2 Hyatt FFNs (which only require $1 in spending) may be better than 100K BA...

@ashero     i wouldn't jump on the usair card if you have other options.   it's got a nice bonus and the anniv miles are nice but a lot of people with very good credit got approved for their lower class card which only gives 10k miles.    pretty sucky if you ask me.

who says you can't have all 3?
anyone know if it's churnable?  i already got it last time around and i'm wondering if they track by ffn or ssn.

no one. but since they're all from chase, it's not as likely that you'll get accepted for all of them.

as long as they're spaced out there shouldnt be any problem     i've  had the ba, co and ua cards.  all approved within 6 months.

so it's safer to apply for 1, wait a week/month and apply for another? or do 2 at a time (2 browsers)?

my 3 were spaced out... not purposely but that's the way the deals came out.        chase is very good at "reconsidering'  so if you get denied make sure to call them  up to reconsider.       i've never tried 2 browsers/apps with chase; in a few weeks i'm going to.   ashero did it, don't think he got approved though.            anyone here got approved for 2 or more at one time with chase?

i can't speak for anyone else, but i was denied the mileage plus card and i called up to get it reconsidered and they took off 5k from OPP card to help the mileage plus go thru and then i got a letter in the mail that after reconsideration, they are declining me bc of too many requests for credit.
i wonder if i can get back that 5k line to my OPP, although they don't report the line anyhow, so i don't think it even makes a difference.

Could someone elaborate or link to an explanation on shutting down accounts? The likelihood etc? I know someone who sold his 100k for 1.5c each so it's something to think about.

BA points can be very valuable for redeeming on domestic AA. I've used it many times for Canada - US on AA where there are no fuel surcharges. An added bonus is no last minute booking fees like you would be charged for the exact same redemption using AA points directly. It really depends on your travel patterns. I've found it very useful for YYZ-MIA where I needed upwards of 5 tickets on one flight less then a week out.

They also have a 'household account' that allows you to pool miles into one account between members living at the same address (or if you say they're at the same address). This can be very beneficial if you and your family have a few scattered accounts.

So when should I sign up for this card? Do I need to wait for something?

For now...they also weren't charging surcharges on any partners last time this offer was around and now they charge for almost everything.

And no expedite fee can be had using AA miles as well, discussed at length here already.

100K miles is still great.  I'm just not convinced that it's that great...
