Looking for new 17 inch Laptop

Im looking for a new 17 inch laptop. Any recommendations? max I wanna spend is 900. Im hoping for at least an i5 and 9 cell battery. Anybody have the HP DV7? Does anyone know how to read the model numbers? Im trying to compare prices but I get differfent model numbers? DV7-4180us, DV-4285dx, DV7-4170us? Whats the diff?

keep your eye on the microsoft signature store, they often have big sales on the big screen laptops... i got the dell inspiron 17r for $575 before shipping.   i5, 500gb

It will only work for that model.  However when configuring it you can get a 6 cell and a 9 cell battery for just $75 more.  Great deal for an extra battery.

Just a warning: 17 are hard to carry around since they're large. (Take it from me, I currently own one.)
I plan to get a new laptop (13-15 inch), and attach a 20 inch monitor to it when I'm home.
