Since Vanilla Reloads are no longer able to be purchased with a CC at CVS or any other location, this thread is for historical purposes only.

If I would write where VR is available, by tomorrow it will never be available again. So instead, we will nominate this thread as the place where everyone can complain that there's no VR, and everyone will be happy.

And it was good.


Regarding OneVanilla (OV) and other Vanilla branded GCs:

1. These are not Vanilla Reloads. You are in the wrong thread to learn about them.

2. As long as you are here, they no longer work at WM to load to BB at the cashier or ATM, nor will they work there for MOs. Your best bets are to use Evolve (there is a thread for that), Amazon Payments (there is a thread for that, too), or use them for regular spending in stores or online. At some grocery stores customer service desks, you can use OV to buy a MO.

Yes, but there's always mint coins (still works last I checked).

They say the tapes didn't show anything. The area where they bags are in this CVS is below the counter so all they see is here putting the cards down in that area into what looks like the shopping bag. They only watched 3 minutes of the tape to see if she picked up anything afterwards. There was a long line behind me so I think it had to be more than 3 minutes before she picked up the card and put it in her pocket or walked away from the register with it.

The card that I bought yesterday had not yet been used so OV was able to cancel that card and they are sending me a replacement card. They were able to identify the card using the receipt and matching up the activation info on the receipt in their system. They asked me to read them the last 4 digits of the cards that I still had and used that info to figure out which one to deactivate.

The other stolen card was a VR card which is a little more difficult for them to track but they are researching it to see if they can identify the card and see if it has any balance left. Hopefully they will have some good news but I am doubtful since the card was purchase on Sunday morning so she had plenty of time to use it.

Welcome to the DansDeals Forum, Yitzy1.  What's happening to you is a form of hazing/bullying that some members act out on newer members who ask questions without doing a little research first. 

They are partially to blame because they treat people poorly, you are partially to blame because your orginaly question about CVS accepting credit cards could have been answered by about 1 minute of reading the site.

I did research and I know it can't be done for the right price but maybe something new came up

What is another way to unload VRs to pay CC besides BB. I have 5k for this month that I am loading to BB and I have another 5k that would have to wait until May but I would rather not.

AFAIK you can load VRs onto an MVD, and then get a CA at a bank (or ATM for a fee)
