While I think writing something like "this page", sounds cool, and has been the style lately for a few members here, I think that it's not always called for. It helps someone remember for next time that the place to go to for a mileage converter is "webflyer.com", when they see that website written openly in the comment, instead of just seeing "this page" and only after clicking on it do they find out that its "webflyer.com". While I agree, that in some cases, like for example if someone just wants to reference a different post on dansdeals.com, it is fine to write "this page" or "here" to link to that page, but I think when you are trying to teach someone something or to direct them as to which site to search for certain things, it is beneficial to write out the actual name on the page, so people see it and remember it better for the future.
Ok, a p'shora. If the link is to a specific website (e.g. webflyer) then it makes sense to post as is. But if its a three line link or just a link to another thread or post on DD or even FT, then use the hyperlinks. How does that sound?
It's almost never worth transferring without the 5K bonus in my opinion, unless you absolutely need the extra points.
If I'm not mistaken he will get 35% bonus on the 7.147 pts, as oppossed to waiting till he makes 20.000 and then getting only 25% on them.Dan, please correct me if I'm wrong...
It has been mentioned that as long as the transfer is initiated by the 30th it is eligible for the bonus. Does that mean until midnight or is there a specific time? Secondly, does anyone know which timezone they follow?
My starwood transfer came through to AA today with out the 35 % bonus. Last week it came through on Sun with the 35 % bonus. I know it says it will take time. I was just wondering if anyone else had this.
