Introducing PayPal Cash! Now you can use the PayPal app to add cash to your balance at CVS and Rite Aid locations. Go to your Wallet and tap the “Add To” button. Did anyone tried to add with a debit or credit card?
Eh, even if a store accepts cash, they'll just shut you down in a few days like they do with everything else.

Will I get shut down even if I have a lot of legitimate activity in my PayPal account?
They're good at tracking where new money comes from and goes to. If you're mixing things up and not just adding and withdrawing in $500 bunches, perhaps you can last longer.
I use my PayPal account to get paid by websites that I sell tickets on. So I'm constantly getting paid by StubHub and other similar sites, as well as transferring money to other people (under friends and family though). Wondering if that's considered enough real activity. Don't want to get shutdown and have my money locked because I actually need that money for my business...
Ah, the decisions we must make to play this game. You're not talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars of MS anyway. It will never get that far with PP, so I'd just avoid it if you actually need it for real purposes.
True, but I wasn't thinking of using it for regular month to month MSing. Just to help me hit a few bonuses and then stop. What if I got myself a PayPal debit card and used it on Radpad to pay rent? Seems like that's what the PayPal reload cards are intended for... I know it was mentioned upthread but wondering if anyone actually tried it and can report back.
It's worth reading FM's interview with an anonymous PayPal employee about MS.http://frequentmiler.boardingarea.com/2015/11/03/anonymous-paypal-employee-to-answer-manufactured-spend-questions/
Interesting read. Think I'll try it with rent though. After all, that's exactly what they're intending people to use it for. If that's not considered a real purchase, not sure what is.
I tried today in cvs, and was told cash only. Is this a new policy or just ymmv, as i have had no problem with cc in the past
If doing in moderation, should be fine.
