Yeah. I don't want anything bigger than my s3 that I had to get used to holding.
No way will it be smaller than the S4.
I thought the S4 would be too big but got used to it very quickly. Now my old gnex looks like a toy screen.
You might have gotten used to it, but it still looks silly to me and doesn't fit in my smaller jacket pockets. I remember back in the days of the Palm Pre versus HTC EVO, the Pre was easily removed from my pocket while driving, however the EVO required a bit of fidgeting around to extract. Say what you will about the build quality of the Pre, but that thing really fit in your hand and was a pleasure to hold while talking. (and you may recall, I did NOT share your affinity for Palm products at all- so this is a big deal for me to admit)
I went into a Sprint store last week and held an LG G2 to my head, and my wife almost double over laughing. At some point, the phone owns you more than vice versa, and I don't WANT to get used to that!
+1
But why would they ever do away with the removable battery? To me it would seem like a dumb decision - it is one of the most important and popular distinctions from iPhone.
HTC did it with their One X line, others have as well. I'm not sure what the reason is- I keep hearing that a sealed battery keeps its life better, but that makes exactly zero sense to me scientifically. The batteries used are the same chemically, they are just buried under a lot of screws for no apparent reason.
