The hotel offered you a great service of storing meals and heating them up for 15 dollars. You accepted. Why would you want to try to get the charge waived? The more people drive them nuts about it, they will stop doing it. So you might save a few dollars but punish the next jews going there. You spend so much money/points going there, stop being the 'cheap jew' and enjoy it
If you really want to know, the reason why I plan on asking for it to be waived is because when I was on the phone with Hyatt a few days before my trip about something unrelated to the meals, the Diamond rep saw something in the notes about $15 per meal for storing and heating and told me that the hotel should waive it because I'm a Diamond member and instructed me to ask them about it if I'm charged. Otherwise, I would have never asked because like you said, I agreed to the charge.
Regardless, thanks for the jumping down my throat without giving me the benefit of the doubt. If you knew me personally, you'd know I'm the last person that you'd have to worry about causing a chillul Hashem.
Anyways, gonna go back to enjoying my vacation while you look for someone else to call out. For the rest of you, I'll probably get to the rest of the TR when I get back home.
