I understand that it not being able to get 3 in 30 isnt true and it clearly says that on the wiki but i have called about 15 times that that is the response i constantly get. How do I argue with them that I am allowed 3 in 30 days?

You don't tell them that. Take a break & try again. Do you have an old card that you could offer to close ?

I got denied for Sapphire. When I called to Recon I was told that I have opened too many CCs in the past two years. I have opened 3 personal (2 from Chase and 1 Barclays) and 1 business. Is that a standard protocol? What can I tell them to reconsider?

HUCA. If all else fails you could offer to shift some of the CL or close one of the other cards.

I tired closing other cards and was told that the problem isnt with how many cards I have open, but with the amount I have *opened*. My Credit Score shows too many cards have been opened.

Probably everyone around here has their CR showing that. The question is what else do you have.

I have HUCA'ed 3 times with same negative respone... ( im trying for a SW business card) ... they keep asking me some Q. and maybe i am not saying big enough numbers.... can i change my answers if from the last time? If i say the business made money in 2014 then would i shoot myself in the foot with nothing being declared? I really am just employed with a 1099 and call myself a sole proprietorship am i lying? 

To sum up I really need a game changer to save this card... I lot of companionship is riding on it... if u get my puns

  When you have been told  NO by all first level credit analysts,  a Supervisor might overrule them if you make a Compelling Case   . If they say NO , highly unlikely someone will overrule them .

Any recent success of offering to close an existing card to get around the 2 in 30 days rule? I did it last year, but the two times I've called so far the reps said they can't even reconsider because of that rule- just want to make sure that there are recent success stories out there before investing more time on this.

I had success in September - waited around 2 weeks to HUCA the last card and they allowed me to close a different card for it.
