If the day is wrong on the date of birth, is that a big deal (month and year are correct)? I didnt know it offhand So I just put in a random number. Do I need to call to try and get it changed or can I leave it?
Also, anyone know what it takes to upgrade these k class tickets?

Birthdate is a non-issue. You can update with United over the phone, or check-in agent in the airport.

Once it tickets, you can view upgrade options on United.com

Just checked and for an Israel ticket its a whopping 70k miles + $1200 for each passenger.

very interesting.. on my e-tix receipt from them it says "K" class, on UA.com it say "V" class. Can I use a system wide on that class?

also no indications that doing the CC form does move you up the rank.

I made a total of about 9 reservations... and did the CC form for the last 2 reservations... and so far it looks like I am being charged in order that these reservations were made.
