I don't blame any1 to owning up, try would have immediately suspected him as killer, no matter what. I believe that rebbi that found him put him in bed and opened window then called police, but did say it was him bec they would think he was killer
It was actually the dorm counselor who found him while waking the boys for shacharis. He screamed out when he walked into the room and a few boys came running in right away; so, I doubt that anyone in the yeshiva moved him. (Aside from the fact that it would have been nearly impossible to clean oneself up completely, before the police arrived, considering the amount of blood and brain fragment there was).
What I'm not getting here: someone lit a candle Shabbos?
From what I understand from the guy who was there, the candle was lit during the week. Although the media seems to be saying that the candle was there when they found him.
