I know it's essentially the same thing as selling miles (in terms of violating the T&C), but I'm bored at work, so let's discuss once again.
Is it okay to sell a hotel night that you have (such as Omni) when the T&C say you cannot resell your reservation?
Let's take a look at the 3 highlighted sections. First off on the left, it clearly says you cannot resell a reservation. Ok. Can't resell. However, it does say on the top line highlight that "invited guests" are allowed. So, one could technically rationalize that they're inviting Person X as their guest, and he happens to be paying them for the offer of letting him stay in the hotel. Strong argument? Eh, not really. The point of that T&C is likely that you can bring your friends with you to the hotel. The last highlight is what really throws me off, though - they can make terms that state you are not allowed to make
speculative bookings? I can't book a hotel night in NYC on New Year's in the chance that I might visit NYC that night? Really? Since that statement seems crazy, it kinda throws the whole T&C into question - did they just make up random stuff? What are they actually allowed to limit?
Those are my thoughts. Anyone else?
